The Die Cuttin Divas challenge this week is Happy Birthday to You.  This worked out quite well for me because it is also my son’s birthday today!  He loves music so I thought this Turntable Die-namics and For The Record stamp sets by My Favorite Things would be perfect for both the challenge and him!

To create this card, I followed Anna Lorenzetto’s cutting instructions on how to create a miniature turntable for a card design.  You can see how she created the turntable on her blog by clicking here.

For my turntable, I used heavy duty metallic and glitter cardstock.  I also used designer brads for the center of the records and the top part of the arm of the turntable.

Making this card was rockin’ fun!  I just love how the record can be removed from the top of the card.
