I spent time in my Craft Cottage yesterday making this cute little onesie for my adorable grandson! The pattern used and onesie are both by Kimberbell. I plan to create more of these in various patterns so, stay tuned.
Been keeping busy lately. i managed to sneak away to my Craft Cottage and created these St. Patrick’s Day cards. i used images from Gina K Designs and Simon Says Stamp for these fun cards.
Have a great week and do something crafty!
Today I managed to create a few cards using Gina K Designs Autumn Chrysanthemum stamp set. I used Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils to color the images. These were so relaxing to create.
Let me know what you think.
I started a new job in June and have had very limited time to sew or craft. I had to study and pass a state certification amongst other things related to my new position. I am the Community Event Specialst for Florida Blue Medicare. I really love what I do and am planning a long career with them!
In between the little free time I have had recently, I managed to piece together this lovely Anchor quilt. I adore the colors in this quilt!
The first picture is when I pieced about half of the quilt sitting next to my awesome machine!
This is the final product all pieced together!
This is my new sewing chair. I have 2 of these in different designs. Don’t you just love the vibrant colors?
I hope you enjoyed my post. Do something crafty and enjoy!
Who doesn’t love hamburgers? They are one of my favorite meals especially, homemade with French fries and a chocolate milkshake! Oh yum!!!
My hubby loves to grill. So, when I saw this image by Picket Fence Studios I just had to create this succulent hamburger for a Father’s Day card! I colored the image using Prism colored pencils and gamsol. I then added some textured papers and added some fun acrylic dots. I can see where I will be using this image in many projects.
This card was so much fun to make and was sent to a very special person. I used my Diamond Press to create the cute little note that is tucked into the bottom of the card. The images were colored with Prism colored pencils and gamsol. I love using this old technique for coloring!
It has been a most interesting year to say the least. The month of June begins the summertime birthday bonanza! Here are a couple cards I created for my son and grandson. Both of these cards make me smile!
This hippo is pretty slick with his bow tie and glasses!
I hope you have a wonderful day!
I have been busy in my craft room this week sewing with my beloved Janome Memory Craft 14000 sewing machine. I call her Scarlett! Anyway, this week I pieced this Iris Snowflake quilt together. It can be used for a tree skirt or table top. I just love how it came together! It just needs the batting, back, binding and quilted. Check out the points!
Today, I am sharing a video of my craft room. This stay at home time has allowed me to get my space organized. Please know that It has taken years to accumulate all of these items as it didn’t just happen overnight.
Do you have a special place that you create, read or meditate? I would love to see!
Who doesn’t love a good chocolate chip cookie? I know they are well loved in our home. My sweet hubby can’t get enough of my dark chocolate chip walnut cookies! They are quite good indeed!
The best part of making cookies though is filling up those gorgeous cookie jars! I love cookie jars, both vintage and newer ones. It’s one of those things that just makes me smile!
Here are a couple of my cookie jars that have found a home in my kitchen. My son gave me the Pillsbury Dough Man jar many years ago (probably 20 or so); and the bird cookie jar I got a few months ago. Aren’t they just adorable? And yes, they look even better when they are filled with yummy cookies!
I hope you have enjoyed this post and inspired to bake some yummy creations in your kitchen.
